Higher RF Power | Calibration Interface | Tripod Adapter | Bundled Adapter Kit

Spare Battery Board | Fiber Optic Cables | Extended Warranty | Calibration Service

There are two PSDS spherical dipole antenna configuration available as radiating elements. The model SD-50 covers the frequency range of 15 KHz to 50 MHz with element extension rods, while the model SD-2500 covers the frequency range of 10 MHz to 2.5 GHz. Both spherical dipoles operate with the same rechargeable batteries and control unit. At the heart of each spherical dipole is the sphere board assembly, which is configured for different frequency and RF power levels as listed in the table below.

The higher RF power option changes the configuration of the spherical dipole, and increases the overall output power level by approximately 15 dB. For customers interested in performing shielding effectiveness testing, it is highly recommended to purchase the High Power option for the spherical dipole frequency configuration of interest.

The PSDS spherical dipole higher RF power option, AET P/N 20022 or 20023, must be purchased at the time of placing the order. (Product and Price List)
